Keltie started jiu-jitsu in 2016 through Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. After a year of training and some time off, she made her way to Bairro Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the start of 2019. After developing a deep passion for the sport and lifestyle, she joined the team as the Head of the Tot’s and Women’s program in 2021. At the end of 2022, she added ‘Program Director’ to her list of titles at Bairro. These days, you can usually find her teaching classes, training hard, and organizing events and programs at Bairro.
In addition to sharing Jiu-Jitsu through teaching and coaching, Keltie has competed all over Alberta. She’s become a leader in the Edmonton women’s jiu-jitsu community through her contributions to organizing seminars and open mats for the community. She loves the community and Bairro and enjoys organizing events, in-house tournaments, and seminars that unite people.
